It is now PrizePick’s turn to ghost an idea, as the compny has quickly and voluntarily dismissed two attempts to bring past members of a company tied to Vetnos to court.

The two groups are tied up in a years-long patent infringment lawsuit in which Vetnos claims a former employee left the company and took trade secrets to his new role at PrizePicks.

As part of the lawsuit, PrizePicks issued subpoenas to both Joe Brennan Jr and Kenneth White. These two men were part of Vetnos’s predecessor. Originally launched as Line Gaming Holdings and later rebranded to GSN Technology. That company went on to become Vetnos.

According to court filings, PrizePicks tried to subpoena the two men and claimed that White was initially cooperative before eventually ceasing communication, while Brennan refused to ever respond.

However, while the fantasy sports company went to courts in Nevada and Virginia to compel the two men to appear, the company has since dropped those court requests.

It is not clear whether or not the company reached terms with the two parties outside of court, but PrizePicks has informed both courts it is no longer seeking assistance from its purview to obtain the information it needs.
