DraftKings is doubling down on its partnership with Meadowlark Media.

The Boston-based gaming giant extended its multiyear content distribution and sponsorship agreement with Meadowlark building on partnership first forged in 2021. That year, DraftKings and Meadowlark agreed to a reported three-year deal valued at roughly $50 million. Since then, DraftKings and Meadowlark have teamed up to distribute The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz and other programs across audio, TV and social channels.

DraftKings and Meadowlark’s extended sponsorship and distribution partnership includes The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz and shows of the Le Batard & Friends Network.

The shows include South Beach Sessions and new unnamed football program.

“DraftKings is the best teammate we’ve ever had,” said co-founder and media personality Dan Le Batard. “The media industry is quaking everywhere, but we know we have the kind of support no one else in our business can claim, a backing that allows us to be fearless as we insist on changing the tired media industry standard together.”

Meadowlark is continuing its business relationship with DraftKings amid recent changes.

Earlier this month, Le Batard announced that Meadowlark co-founder John Skipper is leaving the company. Skipper, a former ESPN president, is stepping down as CEO after teaming up with Le Batard to help the company deliver documentary and unscripted content. Skipper spearheaded Meadowlark’s effort to land a first-look deal with Apple TV+.

Skipper is relinquishing his role as CEO but will maintain an advisory role with Meadowlark.

DraftKings extending its deal also signifies a commitment to media production and distribution after the company sold VSiN back to founders Brian Musburger and Bill Adee in 2024 after acquiring the radio and TV network in a deal worth roughly $70 million.

Terms of DraftKings’ sale to the two VSiN founders were not disclosed. A report from Eilers & Krejcik Gaming suggests the transaction was for “pennies on the dollar.”
