Bettormetrics has released its latest sportsbook data with DraftKings reporting a surge of live wagering activity throughout the second half of the NFL season.

The Boston-based operator allowed its customers to place wagers on 89.5% of NFL games beginning with the league’s AFC and NFC wildcard rounds. DraftKings saw that figure grow to 94.2% as the playoffs progressed and reached Super Bowl LIX.

“The NFL season is the crown jewel in U.S. sports and the highly competitive offerings across the board include player props, micro bets, and large-scale volumes across handicap markets,” said Bettormetrics CRO Sabin Brooks. “With plenty of investment in its pricing capabilities, it perhaps isn’t a surprise to see DraftKings as the clear leader in maximizing its potential by having the least market suspensions.”

Caesars closed the wildcard through NFC and AFC Championship rounds with a 91.1% uptime, ranking it No. 2 of the nine reported operators. FanDuel closed third with an 86.6% uptime during the same period with BetRivers close behind at 86.5%. Hard Rock Bet and ESPN Bet tied for the lowest uptime percentage rates for the playoffs at 79.8%.

Sunday Bowl Sunday data

Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles saw DraftKings maintain its lead over competing operators with the sportsbook having a 97.6% uptime.

The Eagles’ win over the Chiefs marked an improvement for ESPN Bet with the operator closing with an 83.5% uptime. Fanatics finished with the lowest uptime at 82.7%.

Super Bowl LIX also generated record results for DraftKings with the operator reporting a total sportsbook handle of $436 million for the Big Game. Super Bowl Sunday marked the highest gross gaming revenue day in DraftKings history with same game parlays growing.
