White Hat Studios has gone live in the US after beginning its deal with BetMGM – its first customer in the region.
The deal ensures that ‘hundreds’ of slots, jackpots, RNG, table and instant win games are available for BetMGM players in regulated markets across the US.
Andy Whitworth, CEO of White Hat Studios, said: “We’re delighted to see our products go live in the US, starting with BetMGM in the great state of Michigan. Our games are tried and tested, and we are confident our content will thrill US players.
“It’s been an incredible ride getting to this point from a standing start last September. This is a huge milestone to go live, my team has been exceptional to move at such speed, the next step is to launch into all states and get live the 15+ operators that we have signed so far.
BetMGM will receive branded titles that have ‘proven track records’ in Europe that ‘are sure to appeal to North American’ players, including Ted, Deal or No Deal and Peaky Blinders.
White Hat is expecting to enter several other deals to expand its presence in the US. It already has deals in place with PlayEagle.com to enter Michigan, as well as with DraftKings to roll out its content in legal igaming jurisdictions.
Individual state agreements have been reached with Four Winds Casino, Tipico US and Resort Digital Gaming.
White Hat’s CEO Phil Gelvan spelled out the company’s intentions to attack the US market at ICE 2022, labelling the firm as a dark horse in the country.
