Oddin.gg is expanding its reach across North America with a new sports betting license.

The B2B esports provider has announced that it has been granted a three-year sports wagering license in Ohio bringing its total reach to five North American markets. Oddin.gg was awarded a license by the Ohio Casino Control Commission after meeting regulatory standards that included a comprehensive assessment of financial stability and operational integrity. Oddin.gg also had to demonstrate how it will adhere to state laws.

“Securing a license from the Ohio Casino Control Commission is a significant step in our North American journey,” said Oddin.gg CEO Vlastimil Venclík. “Ohio is poised to become one of the most dynamic betting markets in the U.S., and gaining this approval after meeting the state’s rigorous standards is a true reflection of our commitment to integrity and excellence both in Ohio and beyond.”

Oddin.gg is entering an Ohio gaming market that is poised for growth in the future. According to data provided by the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, the state’s sports betting market is projected to reach roughly $3.35 billion annually once the market matures. Ohio became a regulated online and retail sports betting market in 2023.

Last month, the Prague-based company was granted a temporary wagering license by the West Virginia Lottery Commission after undergoing an arduous compliance process.

Oddin.gg is also licensed to operate in Colorado and New Jersey. The company, whose partners include Sportradar and events organizer PGL, is also licensed in Ontario.
