Awager is adding new talent to continue the company’s expansion across North America.
The casino software and hardware development company announced on Thursday the appointment of Warren Steven as General Manager of North America. The hire marks a major milestone for the Israel-based company that is seeking to expand its reach across the U.S.
“Warren’s vast experience and innovative approach make him a perfect fit for Awager and his leadership will undoubtedly accelerate our growth in North America,” said CEO Roy Greenbaum.
Steven joins Awager with more than 25 years of experience in the digital entertainment and gaming industries. Before joining Awager, Steven spent time as the VP of Product and Operations at Golden Nugget Online Gaming where he helped the company gain market access to several markets and establish the first regulated live dealer studio in the U.S.
Steven’s time at Golden Nugget also included its acquisition by DraftKings in May 2022.
The Texas resident also had a stint at IXUP Limited as COO. At the company, Steven played a role in launching BetStop, Australia’s National Self-Exclusion Register.
