Sports betting data platform OddsJam has partnered with responsible gaming and behavioral health treatment company Birches Health to offer resources, education and care for problem gambling addictions.

All OddsJam users will now have easy access to a wide selection of responsible gaming resources and treatment services. Birches Health aims to help problem gamblers who would otherwise have been unable to access care through traditional channels immediately get the support they need.

The service provides a program covered by insurance and the government and run by a clinical team with decades of experience in gambling-specialized care.

“OddsJam is passionate about educating our users to bet smarter by focusing on value when it comes to decision-making, so working with Birches Health is a win-win,” said OddsJam CEO Matt Restivo. “We have a duty to partner with entities in our space who are doing the right thing, and Birches Health is the epitome of this philosophy.”

“We are thrilled to collaborate with the OddsJam team to make sure that dedicated pathways for problem gambling support, treatment, and resources are accessible and convenient,” added Elliott Rapaport, founder of Birches Health. “Partnerships like this are crucial to ensuring treatment is available to all.”

Birches Health spreading its wings

This is the second partnership Birches Health has forged in the U.S. betting industry in the last week.

On March 19, the problem gambling treatment provider joined up with nationwide online sports betting exchange and social platform BettorEdge in a similar union that provided in-app resources and assistance for BettorEdge’s customers.

Similar moves have been made elsewhere in the U.S. sports betting this month, such as Kindbridge Behavioral Health uniting with the likes of DraftKings and BetMGM to provide treatment and support for problem gamblers.
