With pre-registration now open in Kentucky, bet365 unveiled some new details about its plans for the Bluegrass State, including which bettors will be able to open an account.

While Caesars and FanDuel announced plans to restrict online operations to 21+, bet365 joins DraftKings as an operator that will align with state regulations and open up its offering to anyone 18 and up.

As part of its pre-registration offer, bet365 is giving any user who registers in advance $10 in credit per touchdown (maximum $50 payout) during the Thursday Night Football match between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers. While the game may not exactly cater to the normal NFL fan bases of Kentucky, it will be the first game bettors in the state can wager on once betting opens up on Sept. 28.

Once betting does launch, both pre-registered and new users can take advantage of the standard sign-up offer from bet365 in the US, which offers $365 in Bonus Bets after new users bet a single dollar.

“We are thrilled to welcome the great state of Kentucky to bet365,” said a bet365 spokesperson. “With renowned products like amazing bet boosts, the fastest in-game product, and unique same game parlays, we can’t wait to bring the bet365 experience to eligible customers in the Bluegrass State.”

Bet365 went big on promotional spending in neighboring Ohio and promises its signature Bet Boosts and Super Boosts in Kentucky. The operator also boasts a wide-reaching livestreaming library of sports events, but one that is lacking content from US major league sports.

This will be the sixth US state launch for bet365, which is already live in Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey, Iowa, and Colorado. The group is coming to the state through an online-only partnership with Sandy’s Racing and Gaming.
