Gaming Society to work with NBC Sports and the On Her Turf brand

Two content groups with a focus on women in sports are joining forces. Gaming Society and NBC Sports’ branded content site On Her Turf will work together to highlight women’s sporting events and the personalities across those sports and teams.

“Awareness and excitement around women’s sports continues to grow, making the need for betting education and access to betting lines and opportunities greater than ever,” says Gaming Society co-founder and CEO Jaymee Messler. “Legalized sports wagering has proven to be a driver for engagement across sports, and we look forward to working with NBC Sports to showcase the wide array of voices and storylines in women’s sports while also empowering the next generation of women athletes.”    

The scope of the partnership will include the Gaming Society series See You In Lobby. Hosted by Gaming Society’s Marissa Coleman alongside Matt Ellentuck, the weekly series will feature discussions and commentary on the biggest storylines in the WNBA. On Her Turf will be the exclusive distribution partner for the show.

Conversely, On Her Turf content will be featured in the weekly Gaming Society newsletter. Gaming Society personalities will also be integrated into the NBC Sports Edge platform.

“We are excited to partner with Gaming Society as On Her Turf continues to engage with women in sports at all levels,” said Lyndsay Signor, NBC Sports senior vice president of consumer engagement. “With more women playing, watching, and betting on sports than ever before, this is an ideal time to kick off the partnership.”

The partnership comes just days after Gaming Society announced it was stepping up its content offering via a new partnership with Tallysight.
