SportsDataIO has significantly bolstered its c-level of executives, securing the services of Greg Kirkorsky, who has joined the company as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

Described as “one of the most experienced and respected leaders in the sports content industry”, Kirkorsky has over 25 years of experience in sports media and betting and joins SportsDataIO as it seeks to significantly enhance its market position and strengthen its brand.

Aiming to become a leader in data, content, and betting solutions across the US, the firm outlined that Kirkorsky’s appointment will help it to secure further partnerships and scale up its operations.

“Greg is one of the most experienced and respected leaders in the sports content industry, bringing more than 25 years of experience and knowledge to the table,” said Dustin Sullivan, President of SportsDataIO.

“Him having directly established and managed partnerships across major media, tech, betting and fantasy brands will be a tremendous asset and I believe he will fit in seamlessly with our team, culture and mission.

“We are excited to have him be a part of our continued growth as we look to gain scale across untapped verticals and regions.”

Previously in his career, Kirksorky spent over 20 years at Stats LLC and Perform Group before the merger of the two firms. He served the latter as Executive Vice President of Sales and Global Partnerships.

He was cited as a key player in Stats LLC’s transition from a sports data provider to a sports analytics, content and software firm.

In his career, he has handled strategic partnerships with an array of big industry names such as FanDuel, DraftKings, ESPN, theScore, and numerous league and team properties globally.

Kirkorsky has joined SportsDataIO from SimWin, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to join SportsDataIO as our partners continue to invest in data and content to better engage with their users, increase revenue streams and ensure the integrity of their respected products/services,” Kirkorsky explained.

“These are exciting times, with products like our predictive tool, Baker Engine, for partners, as they continue evolving in the industry to keep pace with the interests, habits, and demands of the ever-changing sports fan and punter.”
