The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has confirmed that betPARX is the latest sports betting operator to join its ranks as it aims to prevent and avoid betting integrity compromises.

betPARX is the 45th betting firm in IBIA’s ranks of over 120 organizations and is the latest US inductee as the association aims to expand its reach in North America.

Licensed in a series of US sports betting states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, Maryland, and Ohio, betPARX noted that it is joining the body to protect the integrity of its operations.

Matthew Cullen, SVP of Interactive Gaming and Sports at betPARX, said: “We are thrilled to join IBIA and affirm our commitment to promoting the highest standards of integrity in sports betting. By working with industry leaders, we aim to ensure a safe and fair betting experience for all users.”

Alongside its work to promote integrity across the global betting industry, the IBIA also produces an annual report detailing the work it does throughout the year.

Its 2022 report revealed that there were 268 suspicious betting alerts made to the relevant authorities globally, with successful sporting or criminal sanctions announced against 15 teams, officials, or players where IBIA had identified suspicious betting activity on their matches.

betPARX is one of several North American operators to join the IBIA in recent times, including Fanatics, BetJACK, and Bet99.

Khalid Ali, CEO at IBIA, added: “IBIA is delighted that betPARX has chosen IBIA as the operator’s preferred monitoring partner. It highlights betPARX’s commitment to protecting the integrity of its betting products and related sporting events through the world’s premier operator-led monitoring body.

“betPARX is a very welcome addition to IBIA and maintains our growth across the burgeoning North American sports betting market. The association looks forward to working closely with betPARX and to integrating the operator within our global sports betting integrity network.”
