VSiN, The Sports Betting network, has formed a content distribution partnership with Gow Media to create a radio network of over 300 affiliates.
Expanding its reach across the US to large cities such as Houston, Detroit and Los Angeles, VSiN will benefit from access to more sports fans than ever, whilst also begin able to reach more fans in regulated sports betting markets.
“We are thrilled to be working with VSiN,” said David Gow, CEO of Gow Media. “VSiN has set the standard for sports gambling content. Through this content distribution deal, we will bring together some of the most influential personalities in sports radio to entertain and inform our combined audiences.”
Under the terms of the deal, VSiN will air sports betting news, analysis and opinions to the SportsMap radio outlets owned by Gow Media, ensuring its terrestrial radio affiliate network surpasses 300 and doubles in size.
VSiN was bought by DraftKings in 2021 and aims to bring real-time sports betting content to both experienced bettors and beginners.
It produces long-form podcast and radio content as well as one-minute update shows to cater to audience needs.
Whilst this represents a large US expansion for VSiN, it also has a presence in Latin America after it secured a deal with Mexico’s TotalPlay last summer.
Boasting over 15 podcasts in the sports betting category, the firm will now distribute content to stations such as KFNC, ESPN 97.5 FM and KGOW 1560 AM.
“David Gow has created a powerhouse in the US radio industry, and we couldn’t be more excited to be his choice to deliver real-time sports betting news, analysis and insights to the growing SportsMap radio audience,” said Brian Musburger, founder and CEO at VSiN.
“This expanded distribution is a testament to VSiN’s commitment to delivering superior sports betting content. Over the past five years, VSiN has established itself as a leading voice in this space, and now as the largest national sports betting network, we will bring our unique brand of sports wagering content to more fans than ever before.”
