Sportradar has been selected by Hard Rock Digital to power its new Hard Rock Sportsbook’s in-app live streaming capabilities.

In a multi-year agreement, Sportradar will deliver its streaming of sports content to Hard Rock’s new Streaming Hub available to users via its sportsbook app

This deal builds upon a previous relationship established between the two companies, which included pre-match and live betting services and content solutions in a bid to increase customer acquisition and retention.

Michael Gandolfo, Group Head, Regional Sales at Sportradar, said: “With the increase of mobile and growth of in-play sports betting in the US, live streaming has become more important than ever.

“By providing our extensive portfolio of content, Sportradar has met that challenge and will enable Hard Rock Sportsbook to enhance its product with an even more engaging and entertaining customer experience.”

As a result of the deal, Hard Rock Sportsbook app users will now be able to have an integrated in-app betting and streaming experience from global sports competitions including NHL, Spanish soccer Copa del Rey, German soccer’s Bundesliga, and the Chinese and German basketball leagues, amongst many other competitions.

Users will have streaming offerings for over 150,000 contests from 392 sports properties all within the Hard Rock app.

Matt Primeaux, President of Hard Rock Digital, added: “Hard Rock Sportsbook’s new Streaming Hub is one of several recent innovations that demonstrate our commitment to building the best sports-betting product in the market and delivering the ‘Hard Rock experience’ to our players anytime, anywhere.

“With Sportradar’s worldwide sports properties, this streaming content represents always-on entertainment and provides our players with a dynamic live betting experience through our app.”
