SharpLink Gaming hires Robert DeLucia as new CFO

SharpLink Gaming has announced a change to its executive team, naming Robert DeLucia, CPA as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer.

SharpLink Gaming has announced a change to its executive team, naming Robert DeLucia, CPA as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer.

Effective August 22, DeLucia is replacing Brian Bennett as CFO, who has decided to leave the technological solutions and experienced-based services supplier to pursue new career opportunities.

Before joining SharpLink, DeLucia was Interim CFO of Neon Logistics, where he was in charge of the firm’s financial restatements and transition to US GAAP accounting.

Before his time at Neon Logistics, DeLucia was a Chief Accounting Officer at GTT Communications, an internet backbone service supplier. Here, he oversaw the company’s financial restructuring and was one of the leaders of the $2 bn sale of its fiber backbone division.

DeLucia isn’t SharpLink Gaming’s only hire recently, as the firm appointed sports betting industry veteran Tom Masterman as its new Vice President of Revenue back in July.

Reporting to Phythian, Masterman will be tasked with guiding and leading the company’s direct enterprise sales activities and processes that generate new business and deepen existing customer and partner relationships.
