Sportradar has announced a multi-year sports betting partnership with PointsBet, becoming the online gaming operator’s US supplier of MLB, NBA, NHL, college football, and college basketball data.

The deal will see Sportradar provide PointsBet with a range of its pre-match and live betting services, including pre-match odds suggestions, trading tools, live data, and content solutions, such as live match trackers and live scores to engage audiences.

Sportradar’s Live Channel Online, its live streaming solution created to complement the in-play betting experience, is also included in the agreement.

Neale Deeley, Managing Director, US Betting, Sportradar, stated: “Like Sportradar, PointsBet continues to strengthen its position in the US betting market.

“With the popularity of in-play betting exploding in the US, having fast, reliable, accurate data is critical to driving greater engagement amongst bettors. We look forward to working together to help PointsBet deliver a cutting-edge product to its consumers.”

PointsBet will leverage Sportradar’s products and services to continue expanding live, in-play betting opportunities for its customers in the US.

Johnny Aitken, PointsBet USA CEO, added: “The PointsBet team is unwavering in our commitment to providing the most comprehensive and fastest in-play betting experience. We are excited today to officially announce our partnership with Sportradar and look forward to enhancing those in-play betting capabilities alongside their team.”

Last month, Sportradar announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2021, declaring a surge in revenue and a strong US market performance.

In October, PointsBet published its financial results for the first quarter of its 2022 fiscal year, ending 30 September 2021, recording a 42% increase in turnover year-on-year.
