US-focused odds maker and tech firm Sports IQ has secured a new multi-year partnership with International Game Technology PLC (IGT), under the terms of which it will make its odds and automated trading products available on IGT’s PlaySports platform.
The deal will see Sports IQ supply a comprehensive coverage of pre-game and live products across the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL. Its proprietary models and automated technology enables users to wager on odds such as how many passing yards Tom Brady will throw in a game, or what the next-at-bat result will be.
Omer Dor, CEO at Sports IQ, said: “This is a transformative deal for Sports IQ, and we are proud to be working with a company with the history, heritage and calibre of IGT. The US sports betting audience is interacting with wagering in a way that is increasingly becoming an extension of their overall sports entertainment experience.
“They fundamentally deserve incredible products to engage with. And those products cannot be suspended for prolonged times throughout the game or it takes away from the overall experience of those users. We’re delighted to partner with IGT, who shares in our vision of delivering the highest level of excellence to operators.”
Enrico Drago, IGT PlayDigital Senior Vice President, noted: “Through IGT’s partnership with Sports IQ, PlaySports customers will be able to maximize the entertainment value that they deliver to their players through compelling pre-game and in-play bet menus across the top US professional sports leagues.
IGT’s in-house trading team is eager to incorporate Sports IQ’s services into our already widely leveraged turnkey services and position our customers for continued growth.”
