IGT appoints Dorothy Costa as global HR lead

Restructuring its global workforce frameworks, IGT Plc has confirmed the promotion of Dorothy Costa to the leadership role of Group Head of People and Transformation.

Since 2015, Costa has served as IGT’s Vice President of Human Resources for North America.

The promotion will see her join IGT’s executive leadership team, directly reporting to Group CEO Marco Sala.

In her new remit, Costa will lead strategic oversight of IGT’s global HR programmes and directives including the development of employee rewards, diversity and inclusion schemes, HR protocols and talent management resources.

Effective immediately, Costa will replace incumbent Mario Di Loreto, who will continue to serve the technology group as a senior strategic advisor.

“I wish to congratulate Dorothy Costa, whom I will be working with closely as she takes on the role of Global Head of People and Transformation and we continue to advance IGT’s leadership by attracting and cultivating our industry’s foremost talent,” said Marco Sala, IGT CEO.

“I would like to thank Mario Di Loreto for his successful transformation of IGT Human Resources into the People and Transformation organization, and for implementing a strategic operating model that has greatly benefited our Company and global workforce.”
