Aspire Global has broken into the regulated US market following an agreement between game aggregator Pariplay and operator 888 Holdings plc.
The new agreement, which adds to the longstanding relationship between Pariplay and 888casino, will see the game aggregator provide 888casino’s US-audience with access to its portfolio of successful casino content in New Jersey.
Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global, discussed the partnership: “This is a significant agreement and we are very excited for Pariplay. We acquired the company with the purpose of accelerating B2B-growth and external game sales through a new sales channel outside of our own partner network.
“Moreover, we hoped that Pariplay’s iGaming license for New Jersey could act as the spearhead of our future efforts to enter the US market. Today’s news are fully in line with our M&A-strategy and we look forward to realizing the full potential of this opportunity.”
The gaming portfolio which 888casino will benefit from includes proprietary game titles as well as a variety of games from leading third-party providers – all of which contain New Jersey licenses.
Yaniv Sherman, SVP Head of Commercial Development at 888, added: “Pariplay is a long-standing partner of ours and this important agreement strengthens our relationship going forward. We look forward to presenting Pariplay’s leading game content to our New Jersey-audience and hope to go live soon, subject to the relevant regulatory approvals.”
The deal is the latest involving 888 and follows on from the online gaming firm’s September sponsorship extension with National Football League franchise the New York Jets.
At the time, Sherman stated: “The extension of the deal between the New York Jets and 888casino for a second year in a row only reaffirms our expansion efforts and reiterates the interest in online gaming within the US sports community.
“The continuation of the partnership marks another milestone for 888casino in the US, as we continue to pioneer betting operations through this sponsorship agreement.”
Regarding Pariplay, the Aspire Global owned game aggregator is reportedly in the process of negotiating other deals as it aims to increase its iGaming footprint in the regulated US market.
