Tier one sportsbook operator PointsBet has confirmed it will come good on a “Good Karma Payout” in response to the recent Duke vs UNC game, in which Zion Williamson played just 33 seconds before leaving the field of play with a knee injury. The payout will refund all Duke spreadline, moneyline, Zion booster bets and PointsBetting spread bets in the form of bonus bets.

The sportsbook is also offering refunds to sports fans who backed Duke via other sportsbooks and didn’t receive refunded wagers on the game. Bettors need to sign up with code KARMA and send PointsBet their bet slip through social media to receive up to $100 in bonus bets.

“The Karma Kommittee is here to stay,” said the firm’s US CEO Johnny Aitken. “PointsBet is committed to providing our customers with new and exciting offers no matter the outcome of each game. We will continue to issue Good Karma Payouts, as well as explore other innovative avenues we can take to drive value for our customers.”

PointsBet previously introduced the Karma Kommittee and implemented the Good Karma Payout last month after widespread outrage followed the NFL’s now notorious blown pass interference no-call in the NFC Championship game that sent the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl. The Duke payout represents the sixth official ruling of the PointsBet Karma Kommittee.
