Caesars has been focusing on adding proprietary online casino content to its digital platform, and it marked a milestone this week by debuting its first in-house developed slot.
The multi-platform operator launched Ca$hline, a three-reel stepper slot created by its in-house development studio Empire Creative, on its Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino platforms.
The launch is limited to New Jersey at first but is likely to expand to Caesars’ other online casino markets: Michigan, Ontario, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The company said that Empire Creative’s first original slot title continues its momentum in proprietary content development. Caesars already offers a Signature range of proprietary table games, including Signature Blackjack, Signature American Roulette and Signature Baccarat.
Ca$hing in with customizable slot play
Ca$hline allows players to wager on one, two or all three reels at once, which it said means that users can tailor the pacing and overall gameplay style to match their preferences in real time. Players unlock additional features and expanded win potential as all three reels are activated.
There are also several extra features such as a two-times multiplier on the third reel when all three reels are active, a second-chance respin on near misses and a range of bonuses.
“Ca$hline is built to give players simple, meaningful choices every time they play,” said Caesars Digital Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer Matthew Sunderland. “The team has created a streamlined, player‑driven experience anchored by choice, control and fresh mechanics that respect the classic stepper format.”
Caesars Digital Senior Director of Game Products and Head of Studio Scott Krell added that the game is indicative of Empire Creative’s intent to offer familiar gameplay elevated by innovative features and design clarity.
Caesars Digital a shining light for operator
Caesars unveiled its first in-house game through Empire Creative last May, Signature Multihand Blackjack Surrender. At that time, it launched only on Caesars Palace Online Casino, but the first slot from the studio has gone live on all three of its iCasino platforms.
The traditionally land-based gaming operator has built out its iGaming portfolio in other ways in the months since. Last June, it launched a new Remote Reels online casino system at Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey. The studio, in collaboration with awager, connects live slot play on the casino floor directly to Caesars Palace Online Casino users on mobile and desktop and offers a range of slot games from companies like Light & Wonder and Aristocrat.
Caesars has also focused on omnichannel casino gaming by opening branded live dealer studios in three states, most recently Michigan last July, which connects the live studios to players on all three of its iGaming sites.
At the company’s earnings call on Tuesday, the day before it unveiled Ca$hline, executives reported that Caesars Digital ended 2025 with record quarterly EBITDA and that last year continued a trend of strong growth for the online gaming arm of the business. The interactive division posted annual revenue of $1.41bn, a 21% jump from 2024, while its adjusted EBITDA more than doubled from $117m to $236m in FY 2025.
Caesars Digital President Eric Hession said the company saw 28% net revenue growth in iCasino.
Caesars is not expecting to divest its Digital business anytime soon, despite hinting on multiple occasions in 2024 and 2025 that it may consider spinning it out.
“Given what we have seen in valuations in the space over the past six to nine months, this does not seem like a market that screams you should come and offer some equity of any kind,” said CEO Tom Reeg on Tuesday’s earnings call. “So it’s unlikely you see something in the near term. In the current market environment, it is unlikely you will see us pursue a separation transaction.”
