Caesars Entertainment has launched a new online casino system at Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey that connects live slot play on the casino floor directly to Caesars Palace Online Casino users on mobile and desktop.

The company said the introduction of the Remote Reels marks a milestone in its continued efforts to bring a land-based casino experience to its online casino platforms by bringing top titles typically found on-site at Caesars Rewards destinations to online players.

Players can choose from a range of popular physical slot machines located inside the Remote Reels studio that is based on-site at Tropicana Atlantic City and play them directly on their mobile devices.

The Remote Reels studio, a collaborative effort between Caesars and Awager, hosts 25 slot machines that online players can play remotely and spin in real time. Games in the studio include titles from Light & Wonder and Aristocrat that are also available to customers at Caesars Rewards destinations across North America.

“The debut of our state-of-the-art Remote Reels studio inside Tropicana Atlantic City is the latest example of the innovation we aim to deliver to our online casino players and represents the perfect blend of the familiar feeling of slot play on a casino floor at one of our Caesars Rewards destinations with a fully mobile experience,” said Caesars Digital SVP and Chief iGaming Officer Matthew Sunderland.

“The industry has been waiting for an innovation like this, and we’re proud to launch it with a prominent brand like Caesars,” added Roy Greenbaum, co-founder and CEO of Awager.

Tropicana Atlantic City SVP and General Manager Joseph Giunta said the casino resort is proud to give its online players “the thrill of Atlantic City from the comfort of their own homes.”

Caesars continues to lean into omnichannel

Earlier this year, Caesars debuted a branded live-dealer studio inside Tropicana Atlantic City in collaboration with Evolution. That was the company’s first such branded studio inside a Caesars Rewards destination and the second overall, after the first opened in Philadelphia, PA, in January.

Its Digital arm marked a milestone in May with the release of its first in-house-developed online casino game.

The Signature Multihand Blackjack Surrender, from Caesars’ in-house games studio Empire Creative and developed via the content deal the operator has with Bragg Gaming Group, went live on Caesars Palace Online Casino platform in New Jersey. Empire Creative will continue to release new signature table game products for Caesars throughout the rest of 2025.

Caesars operates a trio of online casino skins in numerous U.S. states as well as in the regulated Ontario market. As well as Caesars Palace, those brands are Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino.

Caesars Digital to go solo?

Meanwhile, Caesars’ leadership continues to mull a potential spin-off of its Digital arm.

CEO Tom Reeg said on an earnings call at the end of April that such a move is still on the table as an option to create value for shareholders.

Reeg was speaking after Caesars Digital reported a 19% year-over-year rise in net revenue to $335 million during the first three months of 2025. Across its three online casino brands, net revenue grew 53% in Q1 2025, which Reeg noted is on top of similar growth in the last quarter of 2024. Caesars Palace Online is the digital arm’s highest net revenue-generating app.
