Kambi is providing its sports betting solutions to a federally recognized tribe in New York.

The sportsbook platform company secured a partnership with the Oneida Indian Nation to offer its sports betting solutions at three brick-and-mortar sportsbooks in Upstate New York. As part of the deal, Oneida is replacing its current sports betting supplier with Kambi allowing the company to offer its turnkey sportsbook at the casinos.

The facilities, operated by Turning Stone Enterprises, that are integrating Kambi’s solutions include Turning Stone Resort Casino, YBR Casino & Sports Book and Point Place Casino.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Oneida Indian Nation, further strengthening our tribal partner network and expanding our footprint in one of the largest sports betting markets in the U.S., said Kambi CEO Werner Becher. “Oneida has a proven track record of offering best-in-class gaming experiences, and we look forward to working with them to ensure they have an unparalleled sportsbook offering for years to come.”

Oneida is turning to Kambi to power its retail sportsbook operations after ending its relationship with Scientific Games. The two entities agreed to a deal in 2019 to open retail sportsbooks at casinos operated by Oneida. The tribal nation also agreed to partner with Caesars Sports to provide retail wagering in New York that same year.

Oneida and Caesars collaborated to open Caesars-branded sportsbooks before Oneida rebranded its retail operations as TS Sports.

Kambi deepens ties to tribal gaming

Kambi’s deal with Oneida continues to solidify the company’s footprint in tribal gaming.

The Malta-based company has more than 10 tribal partners that utilize its retail and online solutions. In 2019, Kambi signed a long-term partnership with Seneca Gaming Corporation bringing its solutions to three casinos across the Empire State.

Kambi continued to expand its reach in tribal gaming by securing a deal in 2020 with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds Casinos. The deal established a retail presence for Kambi in Michigan and Indiana. A year later, Kambi bolstered its reach in Michigan by delivering its solutions to two casinos through a deal with Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises, which is operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.

Most recently, Kambi landed a multiyear deal in 2024 with Wind Creek Hospitality, an asset operated by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. The pact provides Wind Creek’s Chicago resort with Kambi’s solutions for both retail and online sports wagering.
