Hard Rock Digital has signed up payments firm Trustly to be the official pay-by-bank provider for Hard Rock Bet across all of the sportsbook’s U.S. markets.
Hard Rock Bet players will be able to link their bank accounts for instant deposits and withdrawals using Trustly’s solutions, and the latter will provide the former with guaranteed automated clearing house payments and available funds guidance for players.
Trustly will also provide the gaming operator with real-time consumer insights to increase conversion rates and gain a deeper understanding of player activity. Hard Rock Digital will gain access to Trustly’s VIP program, which uses a proprietary risk engine to approve up to US$1 million deposits and provide streamlined 24-hour support for VIP players.
Trustly Vice President of Gaming John Parsons said the partnership is “just the beginning of a long-lasting relationship” that will help the two companies drive innovation in U.S. sports betting.
“We are excited to work alongside Hard Rock Digital in these important markets,” added Parsons in a statement. “Together, we are committed to building a payments experience that puts the player first.”
“The addition of Trustly will provide an incredible benefit to both the business and our players, allowing for faster, more seamless banking transactions, insights for a more personalized experience, and maintaining a safe gaming environment,” added Hard Rock Digital Senior Vice President of Operations Danny Crook. “We look forward to continuing to implement Trustly’s solutions and building on this successful partnership.”
Deal spans Hard Rock’s numerous states
The partnership extends across Hard Rock Bet’s U.S. footprint, which encompasses Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.
In Florida, the operator enjoys a monopoly over regulated sports betting through its deal with the Seminole Tribe of Florida, who hold wagering exclusivity in the Sunshine State and has owned the Hard Rock brand since 2007. Hard Rock Digital has various partnerships with state sports teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Florida Panthers and the Miami Heat.
In October, Hard Rock Digital struck a landmark deal with sports betting technology supplier Kambi that will allow the sportsbook to use Kambi’s Odds Feed+ suite of pre-match and live betting odds.
The sportsbook and casino also recently joined the International Betting Integrity Association‘s (IBIA) network of more than 70 companies and 140 sports betting brands.
