Rithmm has emerged as one of the gaming industry’s premium sports betting data companies using artificial intelligence to allow bettors to analyze data and strategize.

The Boston-based company has experienced substantial growth under the leadership of co-founder and CEO Megan Lanham, a key stakeholder in gaming as brands and companies throughout America recognize and celebrate International Women’s Day.

Before co-creating Rithmm, Lanham developed her leadership skills as a former college basketball player who later honed that expertise coaching at the highest level of amateur athletics. Lanham spent over 10 years as a college basketball coach with stints at Indiana State University, Southern Illinois University, and the University of Rhode Island.

“Coaching taught me that success isn’t just about having a great game plan—it’s about execution, adaptability, and resilience. You can prepare all you want, but if you don’t adjust in real-time, you’ll get left behind,” Lanham told SBC Americas. “That same mindset drives how we build Rithmm—set a strategy, execute at a high level and stay agile.”

Rithmm separates itself by offering data powered by AI allowing users to leverage the product in a variety of ways to create their own betting models to find an edge.

“We’ve taken an approach that no one else has—empowering bettors to create their own predictive models in a simple, intuitive way,” continued Lanham. “Most tools in the space either tell users what to bet or require advanced data skills to get value. Rithmm bridges that gap by giving users the ability to build, test, and refine their own models, making sophisticated analytics accessible to everyone.”

Rithmm has advanced data available to bettors after Lanham forged the idea of the company during her time as an MBA candidate at MIT learning about predictive models.

Sports betting served as a natural progression for Lanham allowing her experience as a former athlete and coach to help establish the foundation needed to launch Rithmm.

“We’re not here to follow trends—we’re here to set them. Whether it’s pushing the boundaries of our product, improving our user experience, or making data-driven decisions to grow the company, I approach it all with the same intensity I did as an athlete,” said Lanham.

Investors have noticed Lanham’s willingness to push boundaries with Rithmm having raised more than $3 million in funding with plans to continue building the business in a new year.

“2025 is all about scaling aggressively while staying smart. We’re not just growing—we’re building something bettors can’t ignore,” said Lanham. “That means expanding our user base while keeping retention strong, rolling out MLB, improving golf and WNBA and launching features that make Rithmm even more personalized and indispensable.”

Rithmm is continuing to expand with the recent launch of its Bracket Generator feature ahead of March Madness allowing users to utilize AI to find an edge in bracket pools.

As Rithmm continues to grow and improve, Lanham will continue to bring her best effort.

“Consistency is excellence. My college coach preached that, and it’s stuck with me ever since. Talent and effort matter, but it’s the ability to show up every single day—prepared, focused, and committed—that separates the good from the great,” added Lanham.
