BetMGM users should have new ease when it comes to tracking and utilizing rewards points accrued on the app.
Prior to last month, BetMGM Rewards Points (BRPs) were earned and stored several different places. BetMGM rolled out the upgraded version of its digital wallet in Nevada in August, customers got a glimpse at what the shared rewards wallet looked like.
Now, the new consolidated rewards are available across the country in states where BetMGM is live. However, they are not available in Ontario or Puerto Rico.
“We are committed to streamlining the loyalty experience for our players so they can enjoy the rewards they earn wherever they are in the U.S.,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt. “The BetMGM Rewards Program showcases our key differentiators — omnichannel play, the iconic hospitality and MGM Resorts International’s entertainment, and partnerships including our alliance with Marriott Bonvoy. With every bet at the sportsbook and spin of the slot you are earning rewards that can be used online or in-person.”
BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy first partnered together in 2023 as part of a larger deal between the hotel chain and MGM Resorts International. Through the collaboration, users on BetMGM can earn Marriott Bonvoy points for their play on the sportsbook, online casino or poker site. Users are also able to redeem points for stays at MGM Resorts properties. These points can also be redeemed for free play or odds boosts on the casino and sports betting apps.
The streamlined rewards are the latet step in a process to make using BetMGM as streamlined as possible. At the start of the year, BetMGM finally replaced its ring-fenced Nevada sports betting app with the same app offered in the other states where BetMGM is available.
