No-code automation platform provider Flows has appointed Daniel De Souza as its new VP of Commercial to accelerate the company’s growth.

Flows called the hiring of Optimove‘s Global Director of Partnerships as “another pivotal moment” for the company as it continues to expand its operations and its footprint throughout the gaming industry. A statement added that the move reflects Flows’ commitment to deliver even greater value to businesses through its platform.

At Optimove, De Souza helped to drive commercial success, enhance customer portfolios and strengthen relationships with numerous operators and platforms. His former positions include a strategy leadership role at Betway.

Flows, whose technology allows businesses to seamlessly automate digital tasks, design digital features and launch applications, says his prior operator background gives him “a unique advantage” in understanding customer needs and identifying practical use cases.

“Dan is a fantastic addition to the team,” said Flows CEO James King. “His experience, industry knowledge and vast network is exactly what we’ve needed to hypercharge our commercial efforts. I’m really excited to see the impact Dan will have with us, having witnessed his many successes in previous roles he’s held.

“Look out for Dan at SBC Lisbon and for the many great news pieces and client signing announcements to follow his start with Flows.”

De Souza noted that with the industry rapidly evolving — driven by advancements in AI, increased automation, and major global opportunities as new territories open up — “the timing felt right for a new challenge.”

“Flows will revolutionize the way businesses automate and manage their operations, and I look forward to joining the most talked-about startup in the industry,” he added. “Having the chance to showcase the product’s potential for both new and established operators, was an opportunity I couldn’t resist!”

Flows secures ISO certification

The new executive hire comes a month after Flows was awarded ISO 27001 certification, which ISO labels “the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems,” after a review of its systems, framework and practices found the company showed a “commitment to quality and international standards.”

Flows recently spoke to SBC News about how the company is helping its customers to implement new ideas at optimal speed thanks to its no-code, end-to-end products. The company also chatted with SBC Americas about the technology it offers.

Back in February, Flows’ headway was recognized by gaming giant Light & Wonder, which invested an undisclosed amount into the company.
