Light & Wonder is making an investment to bolster a non-code automation platform.

The cross-platform games company has made a strategic investment into Flows, a technology provider for the gaming industry that has generated more than 20 billion automations since its launch. Light & Wonder’s investment into Flows will allow the tech company to scale operations and accelerate growth. Flows, which works to integrate any data source while enabling innovation, has a growth plan to expand into new markets with Light & Wonder’s new financial contributions.

“With the backing of Light & Wonder, we can expedite our path to becoming a worldwide leader in codeless automation solutions,” said Flows CEO James King. “Their support will act as a catalyst, supercharging our growth and innovation across the board and accelerating our mission of making technology accessible and transformative for businesses everywhere.”

Light & Wonder has already leveraged Flows services by using the platform to deliver an operator-funded marketing jackpots feature, which is available to all of its partners.

Flows is also driving innovation with a new voice-activated omnichannel jackpots building tool.

New opportunities for Flows

Light & Wonder has invested in Flows as the company expands its portfolio of partners.

Last December, Flows inked a partnership deal with casino and sportsbook software supplier SpinCity Solutions to build features and applications without code. In January, Flows agreed to a pact with gaming solutions provider Swivel Gaming to streamline digital processes. That same month, the London-based company secured a deal with iGaming company PressEnter Group.

Flows also established a presence in Hungary following a deal with online casino and sports betting operator Vegas.hu.
