PrizePicks is continuing to expand in its home state of Georgia.

The daily fantasy sports platform announced on Thursday a partnership with State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Dream. As part of the deal, State Farm Arena and PrizePicks will collaborate to host dozens of events annually.

The events will feature some of the world’s most popular artists, comedians, and athletes.

“We are excited to team up with State Farm Arena, an integral destination elevating the entertainment scene in Atlanta,” said PrizePicks CEO Adam Wexler. “State Farm Arena shares our ethos in innovating the entertainment experience and this partnership facilitates a way for us to engage more people in the community.”

The partnership between PrizePicks and State Farm Arena also includes advertising. PrizePicks will have in-arena signage throughout State Farm Arena for every event.

PrizePicks will also have a presence in Atlanta’s Sports and Entertainment District.

PrizePicks bolster its business

State Farm Arena is partnering with PrizePicks as the DFS giant commits to Georgia.

Earlier this year, PrizePicks announced plans to build a new headquarters in Atlanta. The forthcoming facility, located within the city’s Star Metals Building, is 33,000 square feet and will create approximately 1,000 new jobs over the next seven years in the Peach State.

The new headquarters is also projected to have a $25 million economic impact for Georgia.

PrizePicks offers a unique opportunity for sports fans in the Peach State as regulated sports wagering has yet to be authorized. In March, members of the Georgia House failed to pass two bills that aimed to legalize online sports betting through a constitutional amendment.
