FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) has revamped its Executive Team with four new additions.

Kelly Brooks, Matt Robinson and Niall Dore have joined the global sports media network alongside Richard Gale, who joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer in late 2023.

According to FPSM, Gale has already been instrumental in refining FPSM’s commercial strategy. He previously worked in a VP Sports role at Catena Media and also founded marketing and commercial consultants The Anorak Group.

“We’re in a unique position to deliver technical solutions and product enhancements that can make a real difference in the global betting space, and bringing Richard, Kelly, Matt, and Niall onto the team will help us execute our ambitious plans with accuracy and expediency,” said FPSM CEO Stuart Simms.

New hires fill various roles for affiliate

The trio of new hires will serve in various roles within FPSM’s executive team.

Brooks has joined FPSM as Chief Product Officer. She is the founder and former CEO of Quarter 4, which has been acquired by FPSM,  and will be tasked with enhancing FairPlay’s BetTech capabilities and maximizing Quarter 4’s AI potential.

Meanwhile, Robinson has been named as Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible for implementing a “synchronized technical strategy” for the sports media network. He was previously Head of Technology at Oddschecker, the forerunner to FPSM, and has spent over 10 years working in iGaming technology.

Finally, Dore will serve as Chief Financial Officer for FPSM. In the past, he has worked at Betfair as Finance Director and more recently as CFO of SaaS business. FPSM says that he has over two decades of experience in scaling gaming and technology businesses.

New years rebrand to FairPlay

In January Oddschecker Global Media rebranded to FPSM as the company looked to develop into one of the world’s most recognized sports media networks.

FPSM, owned by private equity firm Bruin Capital, believed that its rebrand would accelerate growth and allow it to deliver more value to customers through its portfolio of brands, which include Oddschecker, CasinoSmash and Confido Network.

“This is more than a new group name,” said Simms at the time of the announcement. “The launch of FairPlay Sports Media allows us to empower our customers to better compete in sports betting while delivering significant efficiencies and added value to our partners through the use of our game-changing betting technology.”
