FanDuel Group is taking steps to bolster its online casino business.

The gambling and fantasy sports company has announced an exclusive partnership with social media personality Vegas Matt to create content to educate sports fans and bettors on casino games and responsible gambling. As part of the new deal, Vegas Matt will create content for FanDuel on various social channels and appear at exclusive FanDuel Casino customer events.

“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with FanDuel Casino,” said Vegas Matt. “I look forward to introducing our amazing audience to FanDuel Casino and showcasing the games people can play that range from slots to blackjack, roulette, and so forth available on their platform.”

FanDuel Casino is currently available in five iGaming markets across the country, which include Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The wagering platform is solidifying a presence in regulated iGaming markets with 5% year-over-year growth in 2023 compared to the year prior. FanDuel hopes that its pact with Vegas Matt can help close its gap between BetMGM, which is America’s largest iGaming operator with a 26% market share as of Q4 2023.

FanDuel has made efforts outside of its deal with Vegas Matt to educate bettors on responsible gambling and financial responsibility.

Earlier this week, the company secured a deal with Operation HOPE — a non-profit that aims to advance economic opportunity. FanDuel and Operation HOPE have begun offering free financial counseling to Massachusetts residents. The counseling, offered by financial well-being coaches, provides resources and educational tools for people to spend wisely, improve credit scores, decrease debt, and build savings.
