Sportech has confirmed that it has been accepted as an associate member of the World Lottery Association (WLA).
In its new role, the international gaming technology business joins the WLA’s existing associate members from the worldwide lottery supplier industry, having been recognized for its long-standing expertise as a provider of enterprise gaming solutions to national lottery, pools lottery, and charitable sports raffle operators.

The announcement sees Sportech join the likes of BMM, Gaming Laboratories International, IGT Global Solutions, International Lottery & Totalizator Systems Inc, Pro-Lite Inc, Scientific Games International, Smartplay International Inc and Spectra Systems Corporation to be accepted as an associate member within the association.
The announcement builds on Sportech’s latest lottery contracts in North America, Europe and the Caribbean, with the international gaming technology company making significant investment in lottery with technology and talent secured with the acquisition of Lot.to Systems, the integration of lottery bets on Sportech’s Quantum™ System software, and rapid growth in its Bump 50:50 sports raffle business.
In addition to this, the organisation’s systems process $12 billion in bets annually for gaming operators and it owns and operates sports gaming venues in Connecticut, United States, under exclusive licenses.
The WLA, which is a global professional association of state lottery and gaming organizations from more than 80 countries, is currently working towards being recognized as the global authority on the lottery business and aims to uphold high ethical principles and to support its members in achieving their visions.
