FanDuel TV has unveiled its broadcasting schedule ahead of the 40th Breeders’ Cup World Championship that will take place next year.
The horse racing world championships, which is slated for November 3-4 at Santa Anita Park, will receive enhanced coverage from FanDuel TV both before and during the event.
“The Breeders’ Cup is always a highlight on the racing calendar and one of the biggest weekends of the year for our audience and we are excited to be expanding our coverage for the 40th running,” said Kevin Grigsby, FanDuel TV Executive Producer.
“Racing fans can count on wall-to-wall coverage from Pre-Entry till the last race on Saturday.”
Breakfast at the Breeders’ Cup will begin airing tomorrow on FanDuel TV and the cup’s social channels and will feature contenders going through their final preparations as well as news and developments ahead of the race.
A cast of Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Caton Bredar, Michelle Yu, Rishi Persad, Scott Hazelton, Joaquin Jaime and Andie Biancone will be live on-site at Santa Anita, and will take part in the build-up show.
Later, a recap will air during the afternoon reminding viewers of what happened in the breakfast show as well as live hits with Britney Eurton, Christina Blacker and Dubbs Anderson.
From October 30, the Post-Position Draw and Monday Line Announcement show will air from 7:30pm- 9:30pm, in which Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Mike Joyce and Andie Biancone will be on site with pre-coverage of the Breeders’ Cup post-position draw.
Then on November 3-4, the days of the event, FanDuel TV will host a betting-focused telecast of the championships, providing coverage of the races. FanDuel TV will be the exclusive linear broadcast partner for both races, the $1m Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint and the $2m Qatar Racing Breeders’ Cup Sprint on the main track.
FanDuel is the official sponsor of the Breeders’ Cup and the Breeders’ Cup juvenile race. The group has sponsored the event since 2020 and uses the time to promote its charitable partners.
