Simplebet has launched an array of new NBA products in a bid to recreate the surgent growth experienced in the 2022/23 campaign.

The B2B microbetting product supplier is aiming to “serve surging interest” in NBA markets as the new season begins, with the launch of new markets including the first field goal scorer exact.

This new market allows bettors the choice of players on each team of who will score the first basket of the game and whether it will be a two or three-pointer. Meanwhile, a similar market titled team first field goal scorer exact gives the user the same options, but for a respective team.

Other new markets include first 3pt scorer and team first 3pt scorer in which bettors can choose which team or players will score the first three-pointer of the game.

The new markets come off the back of a successful year for Simplebet in the NBA. Last season the provider experienced around 350% growth in NBA regular season markets compared to the season prior.

Further KPIs include five-times growth of bet count during the 2022/23 campaign compared to 2021/22, which the firm states “underscores consumer interest for NBA micro-betting markets”.

Chris Bevilacqua, CEO of Simplebet said: “Last year Simplebet was able to showcase how micro-betting could flourish for a free-flowing sport such as basketball.

“We’re incredibly proud of the growth of our NBA product and look forward to continuing to innovate and improve our NBA product as the season moves along, providing contextually relevant options for fans and bettors to interact with the NBA in new ways.”

The NBA returned last night as the reigning champions Denver Nuggets defeated the LA Lakers 119-108, while the Phoenix Suns beat the Golden State Warriors 108-104.
