NeoGames CEO Moti Malul has notified stakeholders that its business will continue operations as best as possible amid the outbreak of war in Israel.

The gaming technology provider, which is headquartered in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, has stated that it will implement a business continuity plan to ensure that its clients’ operations will remain unaffected by the conflict that flared over the weekend.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the country was at war after a Hamas attack on its territory over the weekend. In the days since, over 1,200 people have been killed in the conflict and hundreds remain held hostage in the Gaza Strip.

NeoGames has sought to reassure all stakeholders, including shareholders, employees and customers, that it will provide support to those affected and has sent out its condolences to the families of those killed.

“The entire NeoGames family is deeply saddened by the unspeakable events in Israel this past weekend. Our heartfelt condolences are with the victims and their families, friends and loved ones. We also wish to extend our sincere wishes for the full recovery of those that were wounded in the attacks.

“At NeoGames, employee safety and well-being is core to our culture. We are dedicated to doing our part in assisting families, friends and colleagues to cope with these appalling circumstances. We are providing any resources and support we can through the many initiatives that our employees and many others in the NeoGames family have volunteered to support.”

Nevertheless, Malul asserted that the firm’s operations will continue from its Tel Aviv office, despite many flights to the city being canceled.

NeoGames has a whole host of commercial online casino clients in the US via its Pariplay aggregation subsidiary, while it also provides online gaming technology for several US state lottery corporations.

The firm noted that it has a global community of offices that will help to ensure all operations are unaffected whilst the war continues.

Malul continued: “At the same time, business continuity is imperative. We remain resilient and our entire business in Israel continues to operate normally.

“As a global company with offices throughout the world, we maintain a comprehensive and proven business continuity program, which remains in place and can be adapted to circumstances as they evolve. This program is designed to ensure control and stability of our operations and thus, the operations of our customers continue uninterrupted.

“We also wish to extend our most sincere gratitude to the unanimous and unwavering support we have received from our customers, business partners and stakeholders, not only as organizations, but also as individuals and friends. We are grateful for all their support and continued confidence in NeoGames.”
