Light & Wonder has upgraded its relationship with Betsson after striking a global distribution agreement with the operator.
Under the provisions of the agreement, the slots and gaming technology provider will continue to supply Betsson with its OpenGaming platform, but will now offer an elevated amount of gaming content to serve the operator’s global markets.
OpenGaming has over 3,500 games from both in-house L&W studios as well as third-party suppliers backed by its global presence with a number of operator clients worldwide.

The two parties have enjoyed a long-lasting relationship in which Betsson has leveraged OpenGaming to elevate its offering, but now more content will help to boost its user experience-friendly offering even further.
Betsson has been intent on growing its position in Latin American markets in recent times as it seeks to be a leading operator in the region as new regulatory frameworks are established.
Aside from strengthening its online casino in the region via Light & Wonder, the operator has increased its marketing exposure in the region via numerous sponsorship activations, the most recent of which being a front-of-shirt deal with the Argentinian soccer club, Boca Juniors.
