Penn replacing mychoice rewards with PENN Play rewards program

New PENN Play rewards program cards

Last August, Penn National Gaming decided it needed a new name to go with the new focus of the company, so it rebranded to PENN Entertainment. Now, it is the rewards program’s turn for a makeover.

The company is rebranding the mychoice rewards program to PENN Play, a program where customers can earn PENN Cash playing online with Barstool or HollwoodCasino.com, staying and at Penn properties, or even dining or shopping with PENN.

“PENN’s business has transformed over the last few years as we’ve expanded our retail, online gaming and entertainment experiences. With the rebranding of our loyalty program to PENN Play, we are taking steps to better align all of our brands under the PENN umbrella and create a more seamless omnichannel experience for our customers, which we believe will have a meaningful impact on both our retail and online gaming performance,” said PENN Entertainment President and CEO Jay Snowden.

The mychoice program actually originated with Pinnacle, but became the company-wide rewards standard after the two companies merged in 2017, supplanting Penn’s Marquee Rewards in the process.

The rebranding will also affect the myheroes program, designed to reward members of the US military. The program, which has over 180,000 members, will now be known as PENN Heroes.

The new program will feature the following five tier levels:

Play
Advantage
Preferred
Elite
Owner’s Club

The program will feature rewards not only for perks at PENN properties but also at Live Nation events and Choice Hotels.
