MLB franchise Colorado Rockies has penned a three-year deal with bet365 to promote the sportsbook’s brand across its stadium and TV broadcasts.
Running until 2026, the deal sees the operator’s branding appear at the home of the Rockies, the Coors Field. bet365 imagery will appear on the outfield wall sign, rotational signage behind home plate, and a static signage placement on the first baseline.
The positioning of the branding will also offer the British sportsbook visibility on TV broadcasts, as well as pre-game and in-game features during each game, powered by the operator.
The partnership will begin today, as the Rockies’ MLB campaign gets underway at home vs the Nationals.
“All of us at the Rockies are excited to partner up with an outstanding player within the sports betting industry,” explained Rockies Vice President of Corporate Sponsorships, Walker Monfort.
“As bet365 continues to evolve within our great state, we are thrilled to be a part of their growth story.”
bet365 has attempted to improve its positioning in US sports betting markets in recent times, most recently by taking a strong position in the Ohio market. In the first two months of the sector’s launch, the operator has managed to carve out a top-five market share position, through vast promotional credit spending.
It is also offering $365 in promo credits to Colorado players who deposit $10 and wager $1 of their own funds as it aims to grow its position in the state.
Colorado’s sports betting regulations allow for operators to deduct promotional credit from its GGR before taxation, which effectively allows sportsbooks to sustain large marketing spend without hampering their tax payments.
“We’re over the moon to have found an MLB home in Colorado with the Rockies,” a bet365 spokesperson said. “To be a part of some of the memorable moments guaranteed to take place at Coors Field is reason we are elated to be a part of a fantastic franchise. Baseball, Denver, and bet365 all combine here for one true walk-off home run.”
