Kambi has signed a multi-channel sportsbook partnership agreement with Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels, an operator with multiple locations in Wisconsin

Penning a multiple-year agreement, Kambi will enter its 22nd US state by powering the Potawatomi Casino Hotel’s sportsbook, the first to open in Milwaukee

The deal sees the tech supplier provide 20 self-service kiosks as well as further kiosks to a second location in Cater, northern Wisconsin.

Dominic Ortiz, CEO and General Manager of Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels, said: “Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels is pleased to partner with Kambi, a global leader in sports betting technology.

“Kambi’s proven track record will be beneficial as we introduce this new gaming amenity to our millions of annual visitors from throughout the region.”

Furthermore, Kambi is set to power an online betting solution, offering its online sportsbook software for an on-site mobile launch with its live odds boards and BYOD tech.

Potawatomi Casino Hotel’s sports betting offering will initially begin as retail only before mobile betting is launched later down the line.

For Kambi, this deal represents a strengthening of its US operations, which came under the spotlight in its recent financial results.

Despite losing high-profile customers in 2022 such as DraftKings and Penn Entertainment, Kambi still posted strong results buoyed by good trading in the FIFA World Cup as Q4 revenue jumped by 66%.

Kristian Nylén, Kambi Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, noted: “We are proud to partner with Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels, a deal which further strengthens Kambi’s strong relationship with tribal casino operators and expands our footprint across the United States.

“Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels has some of the premier entertainment destinations in the Midwest, and we look forward to bringing them and their customers our award-winning sports betting technology.”
