Internet Vikings has expanded its operations in the US into the state of Massachusetts.

The global hosting provider is ready to provide its services to companies within the Bay State’s online sports betting market.

“I consider Massachusetts to be a significant step in our US expansion,” commented Rickard Vikström, Founder and CEO of Internet Vikings.

“The state’s local authorities passed the law allowing sports betting just over three months ago, and it is already attracting a lot of attention from many B2C operators and B2B suppliers.

“It is important that we are ready to support our clients when sports betting fully launches there.”

Sports wagering was legalized earlier this year in August for online and retail operators, and it is expected to go live in early 2023.

Kristoffer Ottosson, COO at Internet Vikings, stated: “While our launch in the state of Massachusetts is indeed an achievement, we are not planning to stop here.

“As the US market experiences further active development, it is becoming increasingly essential that we progress hand in hand with it.”

Internet Vikings is active in most US states where sports betting and igaming are regulated, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

Vikström added: “Providing high-quality hosting services to all industry-related enterprises as they expand into or within the United States is of paramount priority to Internet Vikings at this present moment.

“Therefore, it is vital to us to ensure that we are a part of our client’s journey to success when the next US state legalizes online wagering on its territory.”
