MGM Resorts will host the United Services Organization Experience: Salute to the Troops event at its Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino to recognize over 100 wounded veterans and their guests.

The event is in its 12th year and will take place over five days at the MGM casino in Las Vegas, with American Airlines vowing to fly active-duty service members to the city free of charge.

MGM has also pledged to offer accommodation, meals, and entertainment free of charge for active-duty service members.

“We are incredibly grateful for the dedication to service that members of the armed forces and their families have made for our country and all of us,” said MGM Resorts CEO & President Bill Hornbuckle

“It is with awe and appreciation of their courage and sacrifice that we celebrate these heroes by providing them a world-class guest experience.”

The Salute to the Troops celebration will feature activities, events, and excursions throughout Vegas and other parts of southern Nevada, including a welcome dinner, tours of Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon, and a trip to Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium.

Furthermore, hundreds of MGM employees and other supporters will greet the group of veterans in a ‘wall of gratitude’ display, welcoming the procession as they arrive at the Resort.
