Caesars Entertainment has gone live with its Caesars Sportsbook app in Ohio ahead of the state’s launch of regulated sports betting in 2023.
Available to download on iOS and Android, Buckeye State users can now register and deposit funds into their accounts with a special early registration sign-up offer in preparation for when sports wagering goes live in the state on January 1.

Caesars already has a heavy presence in Ohio, as it is the official sports betting partner and the official casino partner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The operator plans to open a retail sportsbook with the Cavaliers on the street level inside the Northwest Atrium area of the team’s home venue, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
A retail sports betting venue will also be available at racino Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs in Columbus, which will accept cash-deposit sports wagers in person when legalized sports wagering goes live in Ohio.
Leading up to the launch of sports betting, the Caesars Sportsbook & Casino Truck will be making stops at Scioto Downs and other sporting events across the Buckeye State to educate sports fans on how to download the app and sports wager responsibly.
The Caesars Sportsbook app includes the operator’s loyalty program, Caesars Rewards, which rewards bettors with tier credits for status and reward credits that can be used to earn experiences, discounted getaways at Caesars’ US destinations, bonus cash in their wagering account, and culinary experiences.
The app provides “multiple ways to deposit funds, faster payouts, and intuitive features that make getting a bet down easier than ever”, as well as live scoreboards, in-play betting, same-game parlays, and cashout functionality.
The sportsbook also features tools to encourage users to play responsibly, including deposit limits, spending limits, daily time limits, and cool-off time limits.
