Sky Racing World has elevated its content portfolio of international racing by beginning the commingling of USA wagering pools into UK-hosted pools through a deal with Arena Racing Company (ARC).

Beginning this week, UK greyhound racing products provided by ARC have been simulcast by Sky Racing World, allowing greyhound racing fans in the USA to watch and wager on UK racing seven days per week.

Racing throughout September will come from venues such as Nottingham, Newcastle, Swindon, Sunderland and Perry Barr, with USA fans now able to join wagering pools for these events.

Mark Kingston, Director of Media Technology and Production at ARC, said: “We are delighted to work with Sky Racing World in this new partnership which will showcase our high-quality greyhound product to customers in the USA.

“We will drive a number of benefits to punters in both the USA and UK, including improved liquidity to the pools.”

US-based players will be able to join the UK pools through an ‘advanced-deposit wagering’ platform provided by partners that offer wagering on greyhound racing.

It has been stated that commingling the pools will improve liquidity and provide greater stability of odds. At the time of launch, US players will be able to place wagers on Win, Place, Exacta and Trifecta.
David Haslett, CEO of Sky Racing World, added: “We are proud to introduce the simulcast of UK Greyhound racing to the USA and believe the commingling of pools will provide a boost to wagering play which will benefit handicappers and the UK Greyhound Racing Industry.”
