DraftKings is preparing to go live with its online sportsbook in Kansas this week on September 1, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals.

As confirmed by the Kansas Lottery earlier this month, DraftKings will be partnering with Boot Hill Casino and Resort to launch its mobile sports betting platform in the Sunflower State, expanding its online US footprint to 18 states.

The operator gained market access in Kansas after it entered into an agreement with BHCMC, the manager of Boot Hill Casino and Resort, back in November last year.

DraftKings has stated its online sportsbook will feature a variety of betting types – including same-game parlay offers, player props, and special odds boost selections – across several professional and collegiate sporting events.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to deliver our award-winning product to Kansas sports fans for the 2022 NFL and college football seasons,” commented Matt Kalish, DraftKings Co-Founder and President of DraftKings North America.

“It’s an especially exhilarating time of year, and we are excited for eligible Kansans to be able to get in on all the action through DraftKings’ seamless and responsible sports betting experience.”
