Online casino content provider Stakelogic has formed a strategic partnership with social casino platform GAN as it looks to put a bigger stake in the ground in the future of the U.S. social casino market.

Stakelogic’s slots and live dealer products, as well as hybrid slots including the Spin-to-Win Live Jackpot Game Show and the Super Wheel live dealer bonus game, will soon be available on social casino platforms across North America. The companies stated in a release that this approach combines social casino gaming with live dealer interaction.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with GAN to bring our slot and live casino products to the US social casino market,” said Stephan van den Oetelaar, CEO at Stakelogic. “This partnership allows us to swiftly roll out our content across the country, delivering a unique gaming experience tailored for American players.”

Social casino operators working with GAN will also gain access to custom-branded slots and live products designed specifically for their platforms, enabling them to deliver a tailored gaming experience to their players.

“We believe branded, custom-made content will become the industry standard in the coming years,” added Van den Oetelaar. “In the months ahead, we will work closely with GAN and its social casino operators to develop a truly bespoke offering that sets a new benchmark for player engagement and entertainment.”

“With our partnership with Stakelogic, GAN is elevating social casino entertainment to a whole new level,” added Giuseppe Gardali, president of B2B at GAN. “Stakelogic’s hybrid slots, which blend traditional slots with live casino elements, are truly groundbreaking for the industry. Live casino is still an emerging concept in the US, and thanks to Stakelogic, we’re able to lead the way in delivering the most innovative and high-quality gaming experiences available today.”

All part of Sega Sammy’s US plan

Dutch iGaming platform Stakelogic has deepened its roots in the U.S. market this year. Already licensed in Michigan and Pennsylvania, it expanded into Rhode Island in February, where it has a partnership with online casino operator Bally Casino.

In July, Japanese video gaming giant Sega Sammy announced it is acquiring Stakelogic for around $140 million, a deal that will combine Stakelogic’s portfolio of online slot games, live casino studio offerings, hybrid and in-house game development with Sega Sammy’s global distribution platform. The transaction is expected to close by Q2 2025, at which point Sega Sammy will own 100% of Stakelogic’s shares.

Sega Sammy previously agreed to buy GAN in November 2023 for around $108 million. It said upon the Stakelogic acquisition announcement that it intends to use the latter company’s in-house live casino and slots technologies to enhance the competitiveness of its GAN platform and expand its American iGaming presence.

The newly announced social casino hookup between Stakelogic and GAN is one step in that long-term plan.
