FanDuel Group has adjusted its executive team, promoting Andrew Sneyd into the role of Executive Vice President of Marketing.
In his new role, Sneyd will oversee FanDuel’s brand marketing within sports betting, daily fantasy sports, casino, advance-deposit wagering, retail, and free-to-play.
Sneyd will also take care of the operator’s growth marketing, media, customer engagement, marketing operations, brand and product marketing strategy, creativity, customer insight, press relations, and partnership activation.
Sneyd’s previous role within FanDuel was Senior Vice President of Brand, where he took charge of the operator’s marketing engine, helping it become one of the leading sportsbooks in the US.
“Since his arrival at FanDuel, Andrew has elevated our creative efforts and continued our explosive growth,” commented Mike Raffensperger, the recently appointed Chief Commercial Officer for FanDuel Group.
“His acumen for brand marketing has separated us from the field and under his leadership, I expect that we will continue to make moments matter more for our customers.”
Sneyd has over 20 years of global marketing experience, specifically in the Fortune 100 consumer packaged goods and technology sector.
Before FanDuel, he was the Vice President of Brand Marketing & Strategy at Priceline, and he has held multiple marketing leadership roles at Anheuser Busch InBev, leading the creation of award-winning Super Bowl creative advertising for Budweiser.
Earlier this week, FanDuel expanded the duties of its current Chief Compliance Officer, Carolyn Renzin, making her the operator’s new Chief Legal Officer.
