Greentube has been granted a supplier license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) as the gaming supplier seeks to expand its North American presence.

Receiving AGCO licensing builds upon Greentube’s position in North America, with it already live in British Columbia, Manitoba and Quebec in Canada, along with New Jersey and Michigan in the US.

Aiming to achieve further success in the region, Novomatic’s digital gaming and entertainment division will deliver its portfolio of games including Diamond Cash: Mighty Elephant, Diamond Cash: Mighty Sevens and Diamond Cash: Oasis Riches, as well as other titles developed specifically for players in North America.

The firm noted that Ontario is ‘a region of great importance’, with a 14.5 million population and an expected market size of $800m. It stated that it will form new operator partnerships ‘in the coming months’.

Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube, said: “We have already established a successful base in Canada through our presence in the regulated provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba and Quebec and we are very excited to have gained an Ontario license.

“It is a region of great potential for the igaming industry, and we look forward to partnering with operators in Ontario to deliver our first-class content to their players.”
