Geolocation specialist GeoComply has received its temporary certificate of authority related to its sports wagering service provider license application in the state of Louisiana.
The certificate will enable sports betting operators in the Bayou State to utilize its geolocation compliance technology, as well as IDComply, an all-in-one KYC and AML solution.
IDComply provides operators with a technical solution that taps into the best vendors for KYC and digital identity, to ensure compliant verification while delivering market-leading levels of player acceptance in a compliant, fast, and low-friction model.
Lindsay Slader, Managing Director of Gaming at GeoComply, commented: “We are so pleased to be approved to service our clients and partners in Louisiana. The launch of sports in Louisiana has been eagerly awaited by the GeoComply team this fall and we are ready to support the deployment of online sports betting as quickly as the state is able to allow it.”
Last month, GeoComply confirmed that IDComply had been fully licensed in New Jersey, launching in the state with Amelco and PlayUp.
