Pilot Games has passed 1 million plays for its Pilot Championship Series, an online version of the electronic pull tab games produced for players in Minnesota while bars and clubs in the state are closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The milestone for the series, said Pilot Games, proves its ability to deliver a successful ‘play-at-home’ product in response to the pandemic.
The Pilot Championship Series includes all the games that customers would, ordinarily, have had access to in 1,200+ Minnesota venues as part of the deal between Pilot Games and NFL side Minnesota Vikings, including the likes of Vikings Victory and Vikings Bingo.
It is important that the games have been able to proceed online despite the disruption, as they combine to raise vital funds in support of charities and local communities.
Pilot Games has emerged as a leader in the use of commercial tablets for gaming in legalized states across North America, having grown to operate at over 1,400 sites with 7,000 tablets generating annual sales of over $2bn.
It recently held a fifth annual PiCON conference, held online as a result of coronavirus restrictions, where charity customers, players and bar owners met to celebrate the success of Pilot Games and the impact on local charities.
