North American horse and greyhound racing provider XB Net has furthered its agreement with Sky Bet after the two renewed their partnership.

XB Net has agreed to provide live pictures, data and betting services from an unrivalled network of over 50 North American tracks, equating to approximately 90% of U.S. horse racing.

As a result, Sky Bet will be able to flexibly populate its programming schedule with a consistent pipeline of betting opportunities, especially throughout the times when UK and European sport is not on.

Simon Fraser, Senior Vice President of International at XB Net, stated: “It’s a real fillip to announce the renewal of our distribution deal with Sky Bet, a brand synonymous with longstanding racing success in the UK.

“Their support in bringing live North American racing to an engaged, recreational client-base has helped grow the appeal of our bespoke betting products. This continued collaboration is a validation of all our XB Net team’s hard work over the previous 12 months.”

Sky Bet’s latest deal continues to bolster its portfolio of international betting rights for racing, meaning that horse racing fans in the UK will now have access to some of the world’s most prestigious horse races, including the Preakness Stakes, the Belmont Stakes, the Pegasus World Cup and the Breeders’ Cup.

XB Net’s low-latency feeds from more than 2,500 meetings, showcasing over 25,000 races per year, has allowed the content, rights and odds provider to continue to push north american horse and greyhound racing to a global market. The sport was partially impactful during the global health pandemic with North American racing being able to sustain a solid schedule and mostly continue its operations.
