XB Net, a provider of North American horse and greyhound racing content, has agreed to a partnership with Racing and Sports Pty (RTH) to help with its expansion across North America.

Racing and Sports will provide its wagering technology and race-day data and control to XB Net, which represents 60 racecourses in the US and Canada, including Gulfstream Park (Miami, FL), Santa Anita Park (Los Angeles, CA), and Pimlico Racecourse (Baltimore, MD).

XB Net’s Senior Vice President of International, Simon Fraser, commented: “We are pleased to be working with RTH and utilizing their trading tool to provide our customer base with a fixed-odds solution. RTH are also our distribution partner for XB-Net content throughout Australia and New Zealand.”

The new agreement expands XB Net’s use of RTH’s Trading Manager platform and Race-day Control services for North American racing.

RTH Trading Manager is a managed trading solution that includes pricing for fixed-odds, exotics, and derivatives, in addition to a rules-based configuration with the option of automated risk and liability management, as well as integrated statistics and analytics.

Race-day Control service is a managed service on behalf of wagering operators, controlling race-day event triggers and information updates to facilitate wagering activities.

The technology integration between XB Net’s racecourses and RTH is a key component of the agreement. It features a live connection between RTH and each XB Net-covered racecourse, where RTH receives a live data feed streamlining Race-day Control.

“We are delighted to have entered into this new contract with XB Net. The deal strengthens the existing commercial relationship between Racing and Sports and the major rights holder in the North American racing market,” stated Stephen Crispe, CEO of Racing and Sports.

“Wagering participants are seeking sources of competitive differentiation, such as through the provision of enhanced content and through the deployment of technology solutions.

“In business, it is always gratifying when an existing customer wants to expand its relationship with a partner and this contract is a significant endorsement of our wagering technology stack that has been developed and commercialized by the Racing and Sports team.

“Continuing to grow the RTH business into markets such as North America, is integral to our growth and we are pleased to have concluded this agreement so soon after the IPO.”

Earlier this month, XB Net formed a digital distribution rights deal with Indian technology company NorthAlley.
